Born in Istanbul, Turkey, Mert currently lives and works in US as an architectural designer. He has a BS in Architecture from Bahcesehir University and an M.Arch from University of Virginia. Interested in sustainability and ecology, Mert is most passionate about combining tectonics and material expression to that provides healthy and useful spaces for that serve the general public. Believing that architecture can cross boundaries in its purpose to increase awareness to our climatic, socioeconomic and demographic problems, Mert enjoys to share his opinions and local architectural news.
