I am a PhD educated professional graduating from the Faculty of Architecture, Middle East Technical University (METU). I have a second master's degree in Globalisation, Industry, Trade & Development, graduating from the University of Manchester. I would like to highlight my Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) where I repeatedly achieved greater than 3.5 out of 4 and a special mention of the "YTONG" special prize for graduating 3rd out of 101 students with B.Arch from METU. I have two internships, the first working with the award-winning architect Cengiz Bektas and the second working to restore and renovate a historical Ottoman village (UNESCO World Heritage List). While studying for my PhD I was also the part-time lecturer at Cankaya Unversity. Prior to this, I did various peer review, critiques, mentoring and assisting junior students with thesis work together with the professional experience that I gained working at the Ministry of Culture & Tourism for ten years. Currently, I am doing freelance work in the UK with online clients. My key skills include being creative, flexible, positive under pressure and adaptable to changing priorities. I have project management skills and the capability of running multiple projects simultaneously. My strengths lie in my teaching, research, mentoring and interdisciplinary thinking abilities. I have published papers from 2008 focusing on academic research and public body architectural challenges in Turkey and more recent papers for the World Architectural Community (WAC). I am a member of Chamber of Architects in Ankara Turkey, Athens Education Board and affiliated with the BNI (TGI) Scotland South and East. Any or all of my references can be contacted at short notice and without prior permission.
