HMA is an architecture and design office specialized in consulting and building project management. Its founding partners are architects Fernando Hitzig and Leonardo Militello, both of whom opened their offices in Buenos Aires in May 2006 after three years of work experience in Madrid, Spain.Our persuit is clearly displayed on the mark of our buildings. Resolve construction at the lowest cost possible and then through sustainable solutions. It’s an architecture of constructive simplicity and tectonic identity.HMA has participated and won awards in both national and international architectural competitions, It has also expanded its professional experience with extensive activity in the academic field, which includes regular lectures in the Department of Architecture, Design and Urbanism at the University of Buenos Aires (‘Facultad de Arquitectura Diseño y Urbanismo de la Universidad de Buenos Aires FADU – UBA’), as well as in the European Institute of Design in Madrid (‘Instituto Europeo di Design Madrid IED’). HM.A’s work is based on the self-conceived total design concept, which serves as our primary guideline during all phases of the design process: from the first draft sketches until the project’s completionHMA relies on a team that develops each of the phases required by a particular task: project area, supervision and documentation of the construction project, technical advisors, unions and suppliers.
