WHO WE ARE

The collective portfolio of Salih ÇIKMAN and Tülin MEYDAN which started when the architects were in education, continued to expand with national and international competitions after their graduation.

Salih ÇIKMAN, after laying the foundation of Mental Design Works in the year 2010, established a multi-disciplinary association with Tülin MEYDAN in 2012. They have been continuing to expand their portfolio under Mental Design Works ever since.

WHAT MDW DOES

Mental Design Works develops products based on logic with the aim of progression and a quest for sustainable solutions by creating self-sustaining scenarios wherever the eye can see.

It brings projects and ideas in all sizes, in ways that will bring forth the potential of any and all new tasks, whether it be abroad or domestic.

MDW develops, applies, and controls projects in the areas of Architecture, Industrial, Urban, and Visual design.

HOW MDW WORKS

The parts which make up the body in the relationship between the part and the body come together in MDW with a system and a cynical vision.

It binds the location of the Project to the Project itself: Embraces its past, analyses the problems of the recent day in all aspects, and makes projects with specific DNAs that belongs to and can only survive in that particular location by shining a light upon the hidden potentials of the said location. Our purpose is to make buildings that lives well, accomodates well, and ages well.
