Description

Born in Ukraine and raised in Yemen, Silviya, later on, moved to Turkey to study architecture in the university of Bahcesehir where she received both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees.
She has been a practicing architect since 2015, based in Istanbul. After receiving her Master’s in Architecture, she worked in several offices on various conceptual and implementation projects, competitions, and interior design. Later in her career, she pursued her LEED Green Associate credentials, and currently, is working on obtaining her AP in BD+C.

Her interests revolve around topics of sustainability, phycological and social urban impacts on architecture and literature and cinematography’s influences on design. She believes that in combining the fields of theory and practice, an architect will bring a more fulfilling role as a designer and a creator.
