WA Awards 48th Cycle is open for entries until 22 August!

The 48th Cycle of the WA Awards 10+5+X is now accepting entries! 

Celebrating its 48th Cycle, the WA Awards 10+5+X is a highly influential online architecture awards program that is pioneering recognition through its more inclusive process.

Architects, interior designers, and students worldwide are welcome to submit their entries for the WA Awards 10+5+X 48th Cycle until August 22, 2024 (23:59 GMT +0).

More than 2,250 projects were crowned at the WA Awards 10+5+X

The WA Awards, a worldwide awards program, are distinguished by their emphasis on originality, novelty, diversity, and creativity that demonstrate and encourage a dedication to the art of architecture. Additionally, they present projects that have not yet been made public through the program.

Thus far, the WA Awards program has recognized over 2,250 projects in the categories of architecture, interior design, and student work. Would you like to be crowned the winner of the WA Awards with your innovative project?

WA Awards 10+5+X has a standard deadline

The WA Awards have a standard deadline and a restricted number of categories that can be entered. Additionally, the participation fee does not increase as the deadline approaches. By registering with WAC on this page, architects, interior designers, and students studying architecture and interior design will have time until August 22, 2024, 23:59 GMT +0, to submit their projects. To have sufficient time for review and editing, participants may upload their projects to their WAC Pages and submit them whenever they choose before the deadline.

Who are eligible members at WA Awards 10+5+X?

Applications for WA Awards 10+5+X are only open to architects, architecture offices, interior designers, interior design offices, and architecture and interior design students.

WA Awards 10+5+X has limited categories

There are few categories in the WA Awards 10+5+X. The WA Awards program consists of two primary sections: Interior Design and Architecture. Participants must submit their projects under one of the three subcategories—Realized, Designed, or Student—after choosing the appropriate section.

Schedule of WA Awards 10+5+X

The WA Awards 10+5+X are normally divided into 3–4 cycles annually, with each cycle lasting about 3 or 3,5 months. Participants are allowed to submit their projects until the specified deadline. The 48th Cycle of the WA Awards ends on 22 August, 2024.

The Voting period of the 48th Cycle is planned to open in early September. We plan to announce the winners in mid-September.

Who are the WA Awards Jury?

The WA Awards Jury, which is the first jury panel for the awards program and is made up of earlier winners of the WA Award along with WAC Honorary Members, is made up of an elite group of invited architects, well-known critics, scholars, and theorists, as well as editors of architectural magazines, curators, and other professionals from architectural centers and other organizations and authorities.

The World Architecture Community Members, who are made up of academics, students, architects, and interior designers who have registered on our platform, make up the second jury panel for the awards program. The next five winning projects are chosen by them.

Nikos Fintikakis, co-founder of SYNTHESIS AND RESEARCH, Professor Şengül Öymen Gür, acclaimed Indonesian architect Budi Sukada, who is senior lecturer at the University of Tarumanagara, artist and teacher Ruth Jacobson, Alhadeff Architects founder Giancarlo Alhadeff, Sanjay Puri, the founder of Sanjay Puri Architects, architectural consultant Jane Samuels, are among the WAC's Honorary Members.

World Architecture Community announces the Voting period on WAC website, emails and social media. 

On the WA Awards 10+5+X Submissions page, both judging processes for WAC Members' Voting, WAC's Honorary Members', and the earlier WA Award Winners' Voting are taking place simultaneously. 

WA Awards 10+5+X has a low-pricing policy

Low entry fees for the WA Awards 10+5+X are intended to promote participation. The awards program's objectives are to raise global participation and make the WA Awards the most easily accessible and reasonably priced online awards program. Additionally, this improves visibility between medium- and small-sized offices and larger offices.

Participants do not have to pay any additional fees when they pay for each category in the cycle of the competition.

WA Awards Winners get a special WA Award Winner Poster and a digital WA Award Certificate

A digital WA Award Certificate and a digital high-resolution WA Award Winner Poster will be given to the winners of the WA Awards. After we announce our winners, they will be made available to the participants in a few weeks.
