Sound Proofing of Buildings

Sound testing (sound isolation proofing) and measuring devices. Technical certification of buildings and maintenance check is in the means of basic safety measures for users – people and for the buildings.

While sound insulation represents a building construction component and layers, it is necessary to check and replace the materials after a certain time. Therefore is the sound proofing test and gives precise and accurate results for further analysis during adaptations of a room, building apartment, public space and renovations of whole multistory residential buildings. Sound insulation and noise protection standards are part of standards for architectural design and building physics as well represent components of the energy efficiency standards. Building design consists of making permanent habitats and space which gives an example of successfully realized and developed building projects.

Aluminium roof and sheet metal are types of roof finishes used for mostly flat building roof types or low angle roofs, are easy to maintain and recycable, while the very spread roof clay tiles are a natural material mostly used for higher angle roof types. High temperatures lead to crackling sound of the aluminium roof sheets and during rain the sound is transmitted through the sheet metal, while with clay (tiles) this is not the case. Metal roof sheets are radiating even higher temperatures and are not usable during summer and can produce sun burns for animals and people when exposed longer at the sunshine, while roof tiling as a mostly natural product is animal and people friendly on high temperatures.

According and as mentioned by VELUX roof solutions from HKA certified GBC webinar on how to get to lifelong carbon neutrality by 2041, the solutions are made for extended duration of flat roofs and aluminium as a material is recycable, which is sustainable and good for reconstructions. Furthermore mentioned in this HKA and GBC webinar by FIBRAN materials is that the long – term strategy for renovation consists of building energy classes, use of good quality and sustainable materials in energy – efficient renovations and adaptations of multistory residential buildings. BIM projects have a great impact on future and already built projects especially using project plans and BIM levels management from 2D to 6D.

GEBERIT acoustic regulation as mentioned by RIBA organized and certified webinar series consists of finding solutions for comfort and control for different building types such as villas and residential buildings. Residential buildings hereby include apartments, villas, accommodation for workers and students. Then there are educational, commercial and other building types.

RIBA and GEBERIT seminar series shows the designing of drainage systems without compromise. The product range adds value to buildings: roof drainage, noise protection sustainable, build faster and more efficient, build to last with minimal maintenance and less renovations, at the same time being customer focused.

"Sound insulation and noise reduction" for embedding acoustic into your building and interior architectural design as mentioned are standards for RIBA, written in this webinar by RIBA Gulf certified.
