Mona Hassan captures Egyptian Village Festival Houses composed of colourful paintings by 40 artists

The goal was to take some pictures of the boats on the shore of the lake, but the journey has included many images of artistic treasure, was captured by 40 artists from 14 countries. The Egyptian photographer Mona Hassan captures these images in a simple village of Kafr El-Sheikh in Egypt.
She was on her way to take some pictures of the boats, which stands on the shores of famous Lake Borollos on the way to the lake, she began to discover technical drawings in bright colours on the wall of simple homes there. On this trip, she decided to keep track of this mystery behind those drawings and discover step after step.
''While I watched paintings on the walls of the houses, I was amazed. As my study of Fine Arts I found that professional view so that I guessed that the people of the village painted that drawings , especially the houses are built of rough stones, and it is difficult to deal with brush easily,'' says Mona Hassan.
Lake Borollos (Egypt Lake lies between the Mediterranean Sea and the Borollos) away Borollos from Cairo about 300 km, and includes many historical monuments such as the lighthouse Albeorollos.

Mona and the people knew that the drawings were part of an art project run by Fine Artist of the people of the village, an artist Abdul Wahab Abdul Mohsen. 11-years old boy named Ahmad, said that he participated in the colouring drawings.
"My friends and I participated foreign painters in the achievement of these paintings, I hope to repeat this experience, it was suitable as holiday for us, we played, sang and listened to music."
Ahmed is not the only child who participated in the colouring of these paintings with 40 artists from 14 countries. Most children and youth in the region participated in the event, which aims to make the streets more beautiful. Activity of coloured walls was the way entertainment for the kids away from the theatres or cinemas or any places of entertainment aren’t available in the village.
It was an artist project, a non-profit organization’s only goal is to develop the region's art and creativity. An Egyptian artist says ''refused to be busy in Cairo and forget the village where I was born, I must have a role in their development, Kfr el-Sheikh deserve attention, because where there is no real cultural services, I wanted to say that art can change societies for the better painted walls of houses part of the annual meeting activities carried out by the artist Abd el- Wahab Abd el- Mohsen Foundation for the third year in a row.''
The event lasts two weeks, and every time the organization calls on Egyptian and foreign artists to participate in the development of the region.
This year, more than 500 artists from inside and outside of Egypt participated in the project as volunteers, the Foundation chose 40 of them from several countries, including Egypt, North Korea, India, Macedonia, Tunisia, Iran, Sudan and Bahrain and students of the faculties from different faculties in Egypt.

Artist Abd el-Wahab adds, "very inspiring area for artists, who understand that their brush able to make them better, and that the region's population really need them."
Abd el- Mohsen believes that art is the best weapon to fight extremism, and that the more people of each city what including in artistic activities, this will kill any extremism of any kind wants in life among them.
''The aim of the forum is to say the fundamental displace any strange ideas to our societies replaced by tolerance and other positive and accepting ideas.'' The artist says that for a period of two full weeks we have several activities, including poetry readings, concerts, and all the heroes of the population of the region, there are those who sings and plays the lute, the forum was an opportunity because everyone expresses his talent.
