XtreeE, a French startup on 3D Concrete Printing is collaborating Ecole des Ponts ParisTech and HAL Robotics on organizing a 3D concrete printing training and symposium. The event will be held on January 17-18, 2019 at Champs sur Marne in France.
Post in Aix-en-Provence, XTreeE
The application of 3D print in building construction has been taken places in different building experimentations, especially in China and in USA, where prototypes, houses and buildings are realized. In France, different initiatives also started to investigate in 3D robotic printing pour big structure with different material. These studies allow us to understand the technical feasibilities and potentials of this emerging mode of construction.
The symposium DiXite3D united french researchers and practitioners to review this advanced methodology of construction. The themes of the workshop include material aspect, composition of the material, technical performance, durability and environmental impact. The workshop will also include 3D print processes and construction experiments.
