World Architecture Festival has revealed new podcast about its 'Women in Architecture' panel, presented in association with The Architectural Review (AR). WAF held in Singapore last year between 4-6 November 2015 with the celebration of many awards and events. 'Women in Architecture' panel was just one part of these events series that focused on the position of women in architecture on a global stage. Chaired by Christine Murray, editor-in-chief, The Architectural Review, three important and prominent woman architects- including Julie Eizenberg, Principal, Koning Eizenberg, Gonca Pasolar, Partner, Emre Arolat Architecture, Angelene Chan, CEO, DP Architects, talked about the difficulties, strategies and gender discrimination in the profession that they face with.

Christine Murray and Gonca Pasolar are on the stage. 

Four leading women architects shared their personal experiences and discuss the challenges and opportunities facing women in the global profession. The AR runs a special campaign and awards program for 5 years that focuses on the role models of architecture. The aim of this campaign and awards program is to bring the most successful women into a global stage and highlight the most iconic names from many countries in the profession of architecture.

The AR has just released the new shortlists of Women in Architecture Awards 2016. The Woman Architect of the Year category names four female architects – Tatiana Bilbao, Jeanne Gang, Kazuyo Sejima and Charlotte Skene Catling.
