Previously, Liz held a role as Student Architect at Terroir Architects based in Hobart, Tasmania. It is one that she sees fulfilling yet challenging on a day to day basis. Liz graduated with a Bachelor of Environmental Design in Architecture from the University of Tasmania late 2017. Prior to graduation, she undertook a “SPECULATE” research project with the Hobart City Council and after which, was also awarded a Dean’s Research Scholarship Program to conduct an empirical evaluation of building material vapour resistivity properties. She also has experience with Detlev Geard Architect and a Malaysian firm, IDC Design East Architects working on a range of residential and commercial projects.
Early 2018, Liz was one of 12 awarded a Vice Chancellor’s Leadership Award from the Vice-Chancellor Division of the University of Tasmania. Having volunteered across multiple architectural platforms such as the National Architectural Congress and the local Hobart Chapter, she values the effort in getting involved and pursuing partnerships within the industry. She has a strong interest in architectural education and intends to make the most out of every learning experience.
