A Weekend of Learning in the Tasmanian Landscape: The Architecture Symposium Hobart 2019

Like previous events in Sydney and Brisbane, this year's Symposium line-up will be nothing short of architectural insights from local, national and international speakers convening in Tasmania's capital city, Hobart. 'A weekend of learning in the Tasmanian landscape' will be an incredible opportunity to learn and be inspired over the 30th to 31st of March 2019.

With the main event, a tour of John Wardle's award-winning cottage and Shearer's Quarters on Bruny Island, the Symposium has announced a series of keynote speakers and workshops by renowned architects such as Andrew Burns – Andrew Burns Architect (Sydney), James Grimley – Reiach and Hall Architects (UK), Peta Heffernan and Elvio Brianese – Liminal Studio (Hobart), Poppy Taylor and Mat Hinds – Taylor and Hinds (Hobart), Jad Silvester and Penny Fuller – Silvester and Fuller (Sydney) and Cazú Zegers – Cazú Zegers (Chile).

The Architecture Symposium, presented by Architecture Media, is part of Design Speaks, a series of talks, seminars, forums and conferences on and about architecture and design, for design professionals and their clients and interested members of the wider community.
