EXHIBITION IN MCCORMICK GALLERY
FERDINAND CORNER
August 26 - October 25, 2013
Abstract: Dudley Square is the geographic center of Boston. It is a transportation hub and the gateway to a major metropolis. It is a unique place with rich history. But the true essence of Dudley Square is found within the vibrant Roxbury community that surrounds it.
In the middle of all this is a new building, rising from the foundations of what once was a thriving commercial node. This is the story of how the promise of a building to enliven Dudley Square inspired those who shaped it-the city, the designers, and the community. The Dudley Square Municipal Office Facility signals a new era. This building is the community's catalyst.
