The Burnham Pavilions by Zaha Hadid Architects and UN Studio received the 2010 Best Small Project Award by the Structural Engineers Association of Illinois (SEAOI). With a prestigious history of innovative engineering for some of the worlds most renowned architecture, the Structural Engineers Association of Illinois stated the anything-but-conventional internal structures of the pavilions proved robust, putting engineering in the service of adventurous, eye-popping architecture ambitious urban planning.
