London Aquatics Centre and Glasgow Riverside Museum of Transport win at the Structural Steel Design
United Kingdom Architecture News - Jul 14, 2010 - 11:07 6190 views
The Structural Steel Design Awards recognize the highest standards of structural and architectural design attainable in the use of steel. At the ceremony on 8th July, the judges awarded the legacy roof of the London Aquatics Centre as an heroic engineering achievement; whilst the Glasgow Riverside Museum of Transport received the certificate of merit: a prominent site by the River Clyde and an unusual building form make this project unmissable. Both are projects scheduled for completion over the coming year.
