Designart Tokyo is one of Japan's largest design & art festivals held every fall. The festival, launched in 2017, brings eminent creatives from the field of interior design, art, fashion, technology, and food from around the world to converge in Tokyo. 

The design and art festival will take place in various venues of Tokyo, including Omotesando, Gaienmae, Harajuku, Shibuya, Roppongi, Hiroo, Ginza between October 20 and 29, 2023.

This year's theme is "Sparks - Freeing Your Thoughts", aiming to bring focus on people's "own real feeling and inner voice that matters and encourages you to move forward."

One of the major features of the event is one’s ability to enjoy numerous exhibitions while moving through the city and, should spark fly, even buy pieces on the spot. The event has been known to be the catalyst of unforeseen chemical reactions between creative professionals in Japan and those hailing from abroad, who join up for new projects or otherwise launch their ambitions into the wider world.
