The Asia Pacific Architecture Festival (APAF) returns to Brisbane from 9 to 23 June 2023 in a collaboration between founding partners Architecture Media and State Library of Queensland.
APAF is a celebration of architecture and design in the Asia Pacific region. The Asia Pacific Architecture Festival will take place from 9 to 23 June 2023 in Brisbane, Australia.
The festival is renowned for delivering a program that includes exhibitions, installations, symposia, lectures and workshops that promote architecture and design’s pivotal role in our culture, sustainability and economy.
Celebrating its eighth year, the festival will return to its regular base in Brisbane with satellite events planned in Queensland’s regions. In addition to in-person events, patrons will also have the opportunity to attend online events.
The full program can be seen here and is curated by industry representatives: Georgia Birks, associate editor, Architecture Media, and Liz Watson, program officer, State Library of Queensland.
The full program consists of key elements such as The Architecture Symposium, Ask an Architect – Free Virtual event and Climate futures and the Built Environment Display.
