With just 5 days remaining to submit projects for the WA Awards 10+5+X 49th Cycle, we've compiled the 5 most frequently asked questions to help you prepare your entry.

You still have time to submit your student, architecture, and interior design projects to the 49th cycle of the WA Awards in order to win the coveted WA Awards 10+5+X and gain international recognition.

1. What is the deadline? The deadline is at 23:59 GMT +0 on Friday, December 13.

2. Who can apply to WA Awards 10+5+X? Architects, architecture offices, interior designers, interior design offices, and architecture and interior design students are eligible to apply for the WA Awards 10+5+X.

3. Do I need to create an account to submit an entry? Yes. To create an account on this page, please enter your first and last name and select the appropriate status that represents you (such as Architect, Interior Designer, or Student). If you wish to submit a project under your company, you will need to upgrade your Basic account to a Professional or Business Membership, which requires an annual fee. 

For more details, refer to the WAC Membership Benefits. Once the upgrade is complete, you can submit your work under your company name. Students must confirm their accounts as Academic Members using the student email provided by their university in the WAC settings before submitting their projects.

4. What materials do I need to submit when uploading? After signing in and accessing the My Projects page, click on "Upload a Project." You will see a one-page upload form that you need to fill out accurately for each project. The form requires the following information: project name, project section, project type, the year the project was designed and completed, and a project description, which must be a minimum of 1,500 characters. Additional sections include project facts (technical data), project team members, country, city, project category, and the project images you need to upload (in jpg, jpeg, and/or png format).

5. What are submission fees per categories in the WA Awards 10+5+X? The WA Awards has an affordable entry fee policy to increase participation from all architecture and interior design firms. The WA Awards 10+5+X participation fees are: Designed category: $130, Realised category: $240, Students: free. Find out more about WA Awards 10+5+X fees.
