Mert Kansu - USA

Since April 12, 2019

Mert Kansu has been appointed as USA's Country Reporter, as part of the WAC's Country Editors/Reporters program. Born in Istanbul, Turkey, Mert currently lives and works in the US as an architectural designer. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from Bahcesehir University and Master's Degree in Architecture from University of Virginia. 

Interested in sustainability and ecology, Mert is mostly passionate about combining tectonics and material expression to that provides healthy and useful spaces for that serve the general public. Believing that architecture can cross boundaries in its purpose to increase awareness to our climatic, socioeconomic and demographic problems, Mert enjoys to share his opinions and local architectural news.
