Inserted in the dynamic of the Lisbon Architecture Triennale, the "Intervalo", an action that aims to give continuity and critical space as an echo of the activities of the Triennial, is renewed in this sixth edition of the "Open House Lisbon" with a script for curious and technical looks , of the best that is done and made in architecture in Lisbon, as a "treasure map of the city".
The Open House is an international concept that already includes 35 cities from all over the world and aims to make known, through careful selection, emblematic buildings of each city, authors and their history.
As commissioners of this edition, we have Architects Catarina Almada Negreiros and Rita Almada Negreiros and it will be already, on 23 and 24 September 2017, that the doors will open. There the public will be invited to invade the architectural space of the city.
Covering some of Lisbon's emblematic spaces, as well as others recently completed.
The entrance fees are free of charge and there is no need for a prior reservation, however, and for those who have special conditions of visit, the organization proposes other forms of reservation that can be consulted on the site, and can be made in three different formats: free visits, guided tours by Volunteers of the organization with a brief explanation of the space and visits commented by the author of the project.
The Lisbon Triennale once again highlights the importance of architecture in the construction and development of cities, proposing a critical reflection, bringing citizens closer to the cultural and architectural space of the city and opening the look to architecture far beyond the concepts Common around them.
Architecture, in September, gains a new life in this planted riverfront city.
