Frank Lloyd Wright architecture school stays open by raising $2M in bid to keep accreditation

The Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture in Scottsdale says it has raised $2 million as it looks to stay open, accredited and become financially independent from the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation. That latter group runs Taliesin West in Scottsdale and its sister Taliesin campus in Wisconsin. The architecture school needs to prove it is financially and operationally viable to keep its accreditation with the Higher Learning Commission and avoid a possible shutdown.
The Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation has promised some more short-term funding for the school. The foundation will invest $1.4 million in the school over the next four years. The architecture school will continue to use classrooms and other facilities at Taliesin West.....Continue Reading
