A Mexico-based architecture firm Gomez Vazquez International revealed only one image of futuristic hotel at Hemisfair.The hotel image includes the logo of W Hotel chain, a luxury hotel brand with 72 locations worldwide, including ones in Austin and Dallas. Gomez Vazquez International explains that a five-star hotel and a shopping center would be “contemplated” as part of the project.The project located in San Antonio, TX, USA.

The image has “zero chance” of being built, said Andres Andujar, CEO of the Hemisfair Park Area Redevelopment Corp., a nonprofit that is rebuilding the park and he adds that “That’s complete speculation on their part.” There are several debates whether it will be built or not at HemisFair Park, which is in the midst of a major redevelopment project. Some reports say that some public officials have balked at using public land for a private hotel, while others have argued that a hotel would create revenue for the park.
