The UIA Public Health work programme invites students of architecture to participate in an international ideas competition to design projects aimed at promoting health and well being around Warwick Junction in Durban. This major urban hub offers a fascinating opportunity to show how architectural interventions can promote health, disease prevention and care. It illustrates the three subthemes for this congress: resilience, ecology, and values. Registrations are open until 31 March 2014.
