The 52nd Cycle of the WA Awards 10+5+X is now open for entries!

The WA Awards 10+5+X is an online architecture awards program that celebrates its 52nd cycle and is recognized for its inclusive process.Architects, interior designers, and students from around the world are invited to submit their entries for the 52nd Cycle of the WA Awards 10+5+X until November 3 at 23:59 GMT+0.

More than 2,500 projects were crowned at the WA Awards 10+5+X

More than 2,500 projects have been recognized at the WA Awards 10+5+X.The WA Awards is a global program that celebrates originality, innovation, diversity, and creativity in architecture. These awards specifically focus on projects that have not yet been publicly showcased, demonstrating a commitment to architectural excellence.

To date, the WA Awards program has honored over 2,500 projects in the fields of architecture, interior design, and student work. Are you interested in making your innovative project a winner of the WA Awards?

The WA Awards 10+5+X has a standard submission deadline

There is a fixed deadline for the WA Awards, and only a limited number of categories are available for submission. Importantly, the participation fee will remain the same as the deadline approaches.

By registering with WAC on this page, architects, interior designers, and students studying architecture and interior design can submit their projects until November 3 at 23:59 GMT+0.

WA Awards 10+5+X 51st Cycle Winner Posters

Who are the eligible members at WA Awards 10+5+X?

Applications for the WA Awards 10+5+X are open exclusively to architects, architecture firms, interior designers, interior design firms, and students studying architecture or interior design.The WA Awards 10+5+X program consists of two main sections: Architecture and Interior Design. 

Participants must submit their projects under one of three subcategories: Realized, Designed, or Student, after selecting the appropriate section. It is important for participants to ensure that their submissions meet the specific requirements for each category.

Schedule of WA Awards 10+5+X

The WA Awards 10+5+X are typically organized into three to four cycles each year, with each cycle lasting approximately three to three and a half months. Participants can submit their projects until the specified deadline for each cycle.

The deadline for submissions for the 52nd Cycle of the WA Awards is Monday, November 3, 2025.

Who are the jurors for the WA Awards? 

The WA Awards Jury is composed of a distinguished group of invited professionals, including architects, renowned critics, scholars, theorists, editors of architectural magazines, curators, and other experts in the field. 

The first jury panel features previous WA Award winners and Honorary Members of the World Architecture Community (WAC).

The second jury panel for the awards program consists of academics, students, architects, and interior designers who are registered members of our platform and the WAC. This panel is responsible for selecting the next five winning projects.

Nikos Fintikakis, co-founder of SYNTHESIS AND RESEARCH, Professor Şengül Öymen Gür, acclaimed Indonesian architect Budi Sukada, who is senior lecturer at the University of Tarumanagara, artist and teacher Ruth Jacobson, Alhadeff Architects founder Giancarlo Alhadeff, Sanjay Puri, the founder of Sanjay Puri Architects, architectural consultant Jane Samuels, are among the WAC's Honorary Members.

The World Architecture Community will announce the voting period on the WAC website, via emails, and through social media. The voting stages for WAC Members, Honorary Members, and past WA Award Winners will be held simultaneously on the WA Awards 10+5+X Submissions page.

WA Awards 10+5+X has a low-pricing policy

The WA Awards 10+5+X has adopted a low-pricing policy to encourage global participation. This initiative aims to boost international involvement and position the WA Awards as the most affordable and accessible online awards program.

Additionally, the program seeks to improve visibility between large organizations and medium- to small-sized architectural firms. Participants will not face any extra fees when paying for each category in the competition cycle.

WA Awards Winners get a special WA Award Winner Poster and a digital WA Award Certificate

Winners of the WA Awards will receive a high-resolution digital WA Award Winner Poster and a digital WA Award Certificate. These will be provided to participants within a few weeks after the announcement of the winners.
