Okno Modhomes has completed a serene sanctuary with a mirrored façade in Chikmangalur, Karnataka, India. 

Named Reflections, the 300 square feet (28 square meters) holiday home is situated in the heart of nature, where the murmurs of the forest blend with the songs of birds. 

This contemporary retreat is intended to be a place where people and the natural world live in perfect harmony. Tucked away under a thick canopy of both newly planted and old trees, Reflections is the perfect example of well-thought-out, sustainable architecture.

Reflections welcomes the morning sun like a delicate bloom, with its back to the serene east. In order to preserve the integrity of the natural landscape, the design aims to have as little of an impact as possible in the environment. 

The building is a symphony of mirrored glass facades that complement the surrounding environment. Sleek metal and organic wood elements accentuate the building's modern, earthy style.

A subtle entryway greets guests and leads to a peaceful environment. Because the living area is raised, it feels as though it is floating among the trees. With its wide views and soft sound of rustling leaves, the deck becomes a place where people can get close to the forest and share intimate moments.

An open-plan living area that blends indoor and outdoor spaces is the focal point of Reflections. The rich greenery is welcomed into the house by floor to ceiling glass walls, which provide an immersive environment. 

The living area seamlessly transitions to an outdoor deck with a hot tub and a comfortable lounge area, ideal for stargazing on clear nights.

The bedroom at Reflections is a personal haven with peaceful views of the forest outside. Natural materials, such as soft textiles and warm wood finishes, are used to decorate the interiors, giving them a sophisticated yet homey feel. 

It embodies the spirit of contemporary luxury blended with the natural world with its distinctive motorized sliding bed, which provides an unmatched stargazing experience.

"The mirrored exterior of Reflections not only creates a striking visual effect but also serves a functional purpose," said Okno Modhomes.
