Ayla Gunerhan Adakli appointed as WAC's USA Country Reporter

Ayla Gunerhan Adakli has been appointed as the United States' Country Reporter, as part of the WAC's Country Editors/Reporters program

Ayla Gunerhan Adakli is a reporter, researcher and architecture enthusiast. Her interests include urban sociology, interdisciplinary research and Latin American culture. Ayla studied sociology and political science at Bogazici University in Turkey and worked as a Reporter at the weekend news edition of Turkey’s prominent national newspaper Hurriyet. Subsequently, she fulfilled her lifetime dream of living and travelling in South America. As of 2016, Ayla moved in Charlottesville, Virginia with her husband.
