Wine Culture Center Architecture Ideas Competition

CREA TALENTS is an open&free Architecture Ideas Competition, sponsored by The Economic Development & Culture Committee, we are pleased to invite architects, students, engineers, designers, and artists from around the globe to take part in .

The objective is to provide maximum freedom to the participants to design a wine culture center in the most creative way, only 10 images required, absolute freedom of scale, site or style.

Participants are invited to come up with visionary concepts for a wine culture center located in a Huailai, one of the most ancient wine region in China. Located near the vineyards, this future landmark acts as a multifunctional place for the visitors, composed of several different sectors for both cultural and commercial activities.

The goal of the competition is to stimulate innovative design idea and to evoke the reflection on the relationship between architecture and nature.

Who can apply

The Competition is open to any Participant aged 18 and over. Participants may be natural persons, legal entities or partnerships of individuals. Multidisciplinary teams are welcomed.

Submission requirements

The deliverables can only be submitted in digital files on the website.

-CV of the participant / all members of the group. (PDF)

-Biography of the individual or of the group. (PDF)

-A free expression document presenting the project in depth(PDF)

The pages composing the book will include the written and graphic elements to present the project extensively.

-Graphic elements made up of at least 10 pictures (10 MB Max for each image)

The most relevant image to represent your project, such as scale plan, elevations, sections, details, sketches and whatever else appropriate for a better presentation of the proposal.

-Innovation, originality, creativity of the proposal
-Potential of creating identity
-Architectural design quality
-General impression and clarity of the overall concept
-Compliance with the requirement of the site
-Sustainable development

The objective is to provide maximum freedom to the participants to engage the project without constraints in the most creative way to create a key site. 

Jury

The jury will be comprised of academic representatives of the related departments of the Design and Architecture faculties, International architects, representatives of the sponsors. The jury list will be updated during the competition calendar. Updates will be published on the contest website.

No restrictions on presentation mode. Participants are allowed to use any color, drawing techniques, electronic models they deem appropriate.

1st Prize: 10,000 euros
2nd Prize: 5,000 euros
3rd Prize: 3,000 euros
4th Prize: 2,000 euros
5th Prize: 1,000 euros
4 honored mentions: 500 euros
