Penta Real Estate has launched a new architectural and urban design competition for the Residence Vysočany competition. With this competition, Penta Real Estate aims to create a unique outcome that will be impressively distinct from neighbouring projects, create enhanced surroundings for future residents and add at least 250 apartments (respectively minimum of 24 200 sqm GFA) to the site.
"We are confident that our project – defined by its location in a pleasant neighbourhood of Vysočany district and with quality access to the city centre – has strong potential to transform this area into an attractive, convenient, and comfortable place to live," stated the competition.
Vysočany
Originally envisioned and developed as an industrial area on the periphery of Prague, Vysočany has undergone significant redevelopment in recent years – transforming the popular suburb into a lively neighbourhood with steadily growing public amenities, as well as efficient connections to the city centre.
The competition site is located in the western part of Vysočany. It is placed at the site of a former meat production house at Sokolovská street. Currently, this industrial plot is intended to be converted into housing and it will complete the surrounding housing blocks.
Development rights to the site are held by the organiser’s subsidiary: Vysočanská ASSET, s.r.o..
