David Adjaye proposes a new development at Piccadilly, 1 & 3 Berkeley Street within some post-war buildings that have observable potential to take reference with its materiality facade.

Crosstree Real Estate Management LLP submitted plans to Westminster City Council for a redevelopment project at 70-73 Piccadilly, 1 & 3 Berkeley Street and 43-48 Dover Street, known as ‘One Berkeley Street’.

The current site is predominantly made up of a collection of undistinguished post-war buildings. The intention is to redevelop the site to provide a mixed-use building with high-quality hotel, retail and residential accommodation. A new area of public realm will also be created in Dover Yard.
