The ''Architecture +Design&CERA Awards'' occupy a coveted position in the annals of contemporary Indian Architecture.The initiative to recognise and applaud architectural and design excellence was taken in the year 2011 by Architecture+Design,a premier national architectural journal published in new Delhi by Exposure Media Marketing Pvt.Ltd.EMM is a company of the BURDA Group.In the Eleventh Cycle the partner for these awards is CERA.

Architecture+Design has made a mark with more than 30 years of invigorating architectural journalism in the country.The magazine reached new heights by providing a national as well as international platform for discussions and debates.CERA is a fore runner and a prime leader in the sanitaryware industry,acclaimed nationally and internationally.It has made a distinct mark for it's innovative approach to its product design.

Each year sees the addition of newer categories in the Awards cycle.The enthusiastic responses for the various typologies from participant Indian Architects keep the awards cycle rolling.The task of adjudicating in earnestness falls each year upon select jury members,this year chosen from India and South-East Asia.Over the last ten years,a strong team of over 200 jury members were actively involved in the awards process.With the inclusion of the South-East Asian Countries (Sri Lanka,Thailand,Malaysia) and Turkey now,an award for Global Contribution to Architecture-these awards have truly grown in size and stature in the region.

This prestigious ''Architecture+Design and CERA Awards'' have seen distinguished guests over the years including including ex-Prime Ministers,Cabinet Ministers,Ambassadors and a host of other celebrities.The presence of eminent architects,artists and professionals from the building industry  also make the Awards ceremony an eagerly looked forward event for the architectural fraternity.

Some of the earlier Award ceremonies have taken place in New Delhi,India;Kuala Lumpur,Malaysia;Kathmandu,Nepal,Singapore and Bangkok,Thailand.This year's it is slated to be held in Istanbul,Turkey.

The awards ceremony has been held in 15 November 2014,Park Bosphorus Hotel Istanbul,Turkey with the prestigious speakers.
