Germany-based interactive digital magazine Uncube has launced new issue! This magazine changes the way we look to journalism with a playful, interactive, colorful and striking themes in each month. The theme of the magazine is different for each issue and features interviews, case studies, articles, essays by many authors / writers, architects and editors of magazine. The brand new uncube issue no. 39 is all about Storage, but don’t expect a bunch of decorative domestic suggestions. Join it instead as the editors explore the potential of the packed archive with Hans Ulrich Obrist and the value of calm, “empty” space with Eero Koivisto.
The new issue delves into data farming and the problem of what to do with all our virtual “stuff”, explore old techniques for improving the architecture of our memories and report on ongoing efforts to keep a lid on Chernobyl radiation 30 years after the meltdown. It’s all about unpacking the box whilst trying to keep a lid on things.
