Farshid Moussavi and Architecture Foundation invite you to the British Pavilion in Venice Biennale
United Kingdom Architecture News - May 11, 2016 - 16:36 7971 views
New Architects 3 will be given a launch at the Venice Biennale in the form of a public conversation between four of the architects in the book. Chaired by Architecture Foundation Trustee, Farshid Moussavi, the panel features Baxendale Design Co, Assemble, Orkidstudio & Studio Sam Causer.
Farshid Moussavi and the Architecture Foundation invite you to an event at the British Pavilion celebrating the publication of New Architects 3, the definitive survey of the best British architects to have set up in the last decade. The book highlights many designers actively reinventing the model of contemporary practice to better effect change through architecture – from cross-subsiding design with other ventures, to establishing charities, collectives and a dairy farm in Kenya.
Addressing these shifts, four of Britain’s most innovative new architects will present micro-lectures on their work followed by a conversation chaired by AF trustee Moussavi and a prosecco reception.
Hosted by the Architecture Foundation in partnership with the Mackintosh School of Architecture, the Glasgow School of Art and the British Council.
4.00pm, May 27th.
The British Pavilion.
Tickets: The event is free but places are limited.
