Copenhagen Architecture Festival CAFx2016
March 10-20, 2016, Copenhagen, Denmark
Copenhagen Architecture Festival (CAFx) was founded in 2014 and aims to rethink the presentation of architecture, highlighting its qualities and diversity, and create relevant discussion about how it affects - and is affected by - our way of being in this world. CAFx is a platform to discuss and display ideas within the architectural world through a public program of talks, films, performances, workshops, seminars and exhibitions in collaboration with different partners primarily in Copenhagen but also in the cities of Aarhus and Aalborg.
CAF2016 looks forward to presenting the series of new interesting topics and issues surrounding the world of architecture today in the cities of Copenhagen, Aarhus and Aalborg. CAFx 2016 will feature several topics:
Sound and Space - Co-creation - Resistant Architecture - Chinese Megacities – Copenhagen – Portraits – BerlinerSchule – a co-curated program by Architect Bjarke Ingels from BIG and Film Director Martin de Thurah as well as a co-curated program by Architect Dorte Mandrup and Director of Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, Poul Erik Tøjner.
The festival will have more than 100 events spread out over the city during the dates of 10th-20th of March. 11 days of films, exhibitions, seminars, bike trips, workshops, walks and talks all focused on the subject of Architecture and Design.
