Saturday, October 3, 9:00 am - 2:30 pm
At the Center for Architecture, 536 LaGuardia Place
Please join us for a symposium related to the exhibition, Designing Affordability: Quicker, Smarter, More Efficient Housing Now. The symposium will address how architects, engineers, planners, policy makers, tenants, and homeowners are crafting innovative ways to reduce the cost of housing and increase opportunities by rethinking how we build, maintain, and occupy structures. Register from here.
The symposium will host presentations by practicing architects and policy innovators, followed by a series of moderated discussions. Together, speakers will examine new developments in building innovations, living situations, and progressive partnerships that can bring down the cost of housing and, as such, incorporate affordability into these systems.
