Doing a minuscule practice of architecture after graduating from University of San Carlos (Cebu, Philippines) and passing the licensure examination in 1985. With no draftsman, design plans are drawn all by himself. His design process is based on principles of using simple materials and proper orientation for cross ventilation and sun shading. His works are mostly simple utilitarian houses with no air conditioning units installed and with pared down detailing. He is not particular on how the building looks from the outside but rather how the inside spaces are being experienced.
