Equitable and Inclusive City: Malmö introduces new ways of being on Equitable and Inclusive City

As part of our partnership with the ICLEI World Congress 2021 - 2022, we're releasing a third film, exploring the new ways and participatory processes of the City of Malmö on being equitable and inclusive city.

Titled Equitable and Inclusive City, the video introduces new initiatives and examples of developments on how the city reaches its full potential to its local citizens.

Produced by the City of Malmö, the short film is one of the six videos based on different themes, are released as part of the ICLEI World Congress 2021 - 2022, hosted by ICLEI - Local Governments for Sustainability and the City of Malmö, Sweden

The congress is being held as a hybrid summit on 11-13 May under the theme of "Sustainability. Together".

The 5-minute film, moderated by Trevor Graham, Sustainability Consultant at UrbanIsland, highlights the role and initiatives of Malmö to be able to create an ecologically and socially sustainable city.

In the video, governance, education, employment, housing, planning, health and social services become the main driven factors that the city has developed.

Sadiye Altundal, Developer and Coordinator at Department of Culture, City of Malmö and Lena Friblick, Founder, CEO at Botildenborg, are the guests who interview with Trevor Graham on their special projects and initiatives for the City of Malmö.

World Architecture Community will publish a new film, titled Low emission Transport, next week.

Meanwhile, you can watch the films on Circular City and Climate Neutral Building on Sweden Country Page.
