Veteran Indian Architect C P Kukreja Passed Away at 79

C P Kukreja, a pioneer of contemporary Indian architecture passed away on August 11, 2018, at the age of 79. He was perhaps one of the most successful architects and academician that India has ever produced in the contemporary era. He was founder chairman of New Delhi based architectural firm C P Kukreja Architects which is now being run by his son and eminent architect Dikshu C. Kukreja.
Some of the notable projects undertaken by his firm include American High Commission; New Delhi, Apollo Hospital; New Delhi, Canadian High Commission; New Delhi, Bharat Seats Ltd. Maruti Complex; Gurgaon, Comptroller Auditor General of India, Finnish Embassy, Gyan Bharti School; Saket, Monarch Hotel; Ooty, Havells Office Solan, Hospital and Medical College Kathmandu, Goldsouk Gurgaon, Hotel Lalit, Jawaharlal Nehru University etc.
