Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem, Head of the General Organization of Culture Palaces Ahmed Awwad conferred with Governor of Port Said Adel al-Ghadban numerous procedures to promote the creative activities in the governorate.

The meeting undertook the agenda of the cultural and artistic program to celebrate the choice of Port Said Governorate as the capital of Egyptian culture in 2020.

Moreover, there was a discussion of ways to encourage cultural activities and boost the mechanisms of recognizing and encouraging talented people from the governorate through the Talent Development Center at the Cultural Palace. 

The meeting addressed the establishment of a permanent outlet for the ministry’s publications, holding events in Behirat al-Manzala Region in addition to establishing a culture initiative called “Culture out of the Walls" organized at 14 theaters in parks and public gardens .
