Youth are the backbone of any society as they represent the future of nations , nowadays youth highly attracted to video games , drugs , alcohols and other harmful activities , and neglect their sports life and social life , as this affect youth negatively and affect negative on society generations . The project goal is to provide sports center with video game themes to attract youth again to practice sports and physical activities in an interesting way with new style of the sports by considering their psychological and physical needs with the latest technology developments to enhance their health and drive youth away from video games , drugs , alcohols and harmful activities and produce strong , independent and stable generations .
* Introduction : the goal of the project is to attract youth again to their sports and social life and drive them away from video games , drugs and alcohols by providing the video games environment in real life , so youth will practice physical activities in interesting way and return back to their healthy life gradually , ( Energy , Speed and Motion is the essence of the life )
* SDGS : the project goal is to achieve specific SDGS like :
1- Good health and well being : this is achieved by providing suitable space for youth to practice physical activities .
2- Gender Equality : achieved by providing spaces which support both genders by consider specific colors , materials and services .
3- Affordable and Clean energy : achieved by using skylights , electric kinetic flooring and solar panels which helps in save energy and generate it
4- Sustainable cities and communities : achieved by using materials of the surrounded environment and depending on the natural lighting in all the project .
*Project location : New Alamein City ; North Coast of Egypt , Marsa Matrouh governorate . why new Alamein city ? as it's smart city , sustainable city , international city , good climate , historical city and tourism attraction city so the project fits in it .
* Concept :
( Sun is the core that emits energy , power and photons to everything around ) :
Sun is the main source of energy to our world , it radiate our world
through flow of photons : the basic unit of all light . Photons always in motion and spread in a dynamic random way , its speed is 2.998*10 which is the speed of light . photons carry energy to the whole world , it hit electrons and change energy levels forward , so the emitted photons will affect on youth by giving them energy ,strengthen their minds and bones and gives hope of bright future and goal achievement from the
core of the sun to the whole world .
* Project's Name is ( Sparko ) inspired from the sparks that exist from the light which enhance the idea of energy , speed and motion , which relate to the concept of the sun energy .
* Zone 1 ( Biking Hall ) :
- provide lanes for mountain biking
- it is the main zone of the youth center
- it connect all the buildings together as their is biking lane penetrate the surrounded buildings to complete one outdoor cycle and return back to the main zone as this cycle enhance the idea behind the concept which is the continuous motion of the photos around the sun .
- located directly in front of the beach
- mixed with Greek touches due to the historical aspect of the location
- it is the first place in the world which provide biking sport in historical theme .
- the zone is featured with pink and purple colors as they represent deepness , confidence and alertness as this what is the user needs while practice this kind of sports .
* zone 2 ( Climbing Hall ) :
- provide huge hall of interactive climbing walls
- the climbing hall zone is connected to the biking hall through the biking lane that penetrate the climbing hall and penetrate its walls in a circular way
- it is featured with colorful colors like yellow , blue and pink to motivate youth's motion and enhance their energy efficiency .

Sustainability:
- using natural materials that surrounds the project as new Alamein city environment featured with rocks , sands , desert plants , water and stones , so natural materials used in construction and cladding as :
- using natural rocks from the surrounded area used in flooring design and wall claddings
- using natural stones from the surrounded environment used in flooring surfaces and cladding of the climbing walls
- natural sand from the surrounded area its affordable with large amounts .
- using natural desert plants found in the environment , used in the biking hub flooring surface .
- using natural color pigments from the sand to make the zones colorful.
- use curtain walls made of the sand of the surrounded environment of the New Alamein city by popular manufacture there with cheap prices .
- Using slate mortar in wall plastering as it is affordable in the area .
* day light system : as the project mainly depends on natural light as it :
- enhance the concept of the project as it is that the sun is the core that emits energy to everything around .
- save energy

* Interactive kinetic flooring and climbing holds : to take benefits from youth's motion , the youth center provide this kind of flooring and climbing holds to generate energy from their motion as it work by the motion's pressure on it .
Technology used in the project :
- Curtain walls system : to save lighting costs and enhance the view and connect other buildings together.
- Touch screens : to facilitate the visitor experience .
- HVAC system : It will be the main ventilation source to the space and easy to control the space’s temperature .
- Fire system : To avoid burn cases and enhance the safety system .
- Daylight system : to save artificial lighting costs and support the concept of the project as it is the sun .
- Solar energy system : to save electric energy and generate it and this helps the building to be more independent .
- Security camera system : Enhance the security system and avoid any type of crimes and illegal works .
- Interactive walls system : Add more entertainment to the
visitor experience .
- Natural ventilation system : to take benefits of the fresh air as the project is located in front of the sea directly .
- Kinetic floor system : to save electric energy and generate it from youth’s motion , this helps the building to be more independent .
