FY2014-2015 NYSCA and Grants Gateway Portals Are Now Open! Please Register and Apply Now!
To align with New York State’s Grants Gateway, the NYSCA application process has changed from years past.
Applicants will now need to submit information in both the NYSCA application portal and the Grants Gateway Grant Opportunity Portal.
Application Deadline: Friday June 27, 2014, 4pm
NYSCA are pleased to announce that the NYSCA guidelines for 2014-2015 are now available online for your review. Applicants can immediately begin the NYSCA application process.
This year, the process of applying for NYSCA funding has changed. Completing an application is now a two-step process.
- First, complete required Registration and Application on the NYSCA Portal
- Then, complete required information and upload support materials to the Grants Gateway Grant Opportunity Portal
All portals will close at 4:00PM on June 27, 2014. Both components must be completed and submitted in order to be considered for funding.
NYSCA Registration Opens May 9, 2014. Starting May 9th and for the duration of the application period (closing at 4:00 PM, June 27, 2014) all interested applicants and grantees with ongoing multiyear contracts must register through the NYSCA Portal. To complete registration, all organizations must:
- Complete the Organization Profile
- Complete the Organization Budget
- Fill out the Registration Form
All of the above required submissions are available as fillable forms through the NYSCA Portal.
Ongoing Multi-Year Contracts:
If you are a current grantee with an ongoing multiyear NYSCA contract, you must complete the registration process as outlined above. You can begin this process immediately, but must complete registration no later than 4:00 PM, June 27, 2014. Upon submission of the completed Registration package, the ongoing multiyear contract will be re-registered in the NYSCA Portal for FY15.Please note: before multiyear grantees can receive FY15 claim for payment forms, grantees must submit the organization’s last two years of financials and other data using the New York State Cultural Data Project Funder Report(CDP). Please make sure this report is completed and saved on the CDP website no later than June 27, 2014. In addition, all grantees must be prequalified, andmust be current on all prior year’s required final reports. Grantees with ongoing multiyear contracts will be contacted via email with instructions on how to request claims for payment on these contracts.
New Applications for Support:
NYSCA Application Opens and Grants Gateway Grant Opportunity Portal Opens on May 23, 2014 through June 27, 2014.
On May 23rd, registered applicants will be granted access to the NYSCA Application Form for all new projects that have been submitted on the Registration Form(s). Once the Project Application is submitted to the NYSCA Portal, applicants will be able to view all four completed documents in a single window (Profile, Budget, Registration Page and Application). This information mustbe saved as a single pdf. A copy of the .pdf containing the four required documents must be uploaded to the Grants Gateway Grant Opportunity Portal (See Below).
Through the Grants Gateway Grant Opportunity Portal, applicants will be asked to submit:
- A Project Budget
- A Work Plan
- A Copy of the Cultural Data Project NYS Funder Report
- Required Support Materials, as indicated in the project guidelines
- The .pdf comprised of the Organization Profile, Organization Budget, the Registration Page, and the Program Application as submitted to the NYSCA application portal
All applications submitted for funding consideration will be carefully considered by the NYSCA staff, panels and Council over the coming months. Funding award notifications will be made in the fall. All new FY15 contracts will be issued on or around January 1st and will have a January through December 2015 contract term. This is the period in which the funded activity must occur. Please plan accordingly.
