the first impression is that there is something disturbing with the proportions here: an exaggerated portal element for this small building that has TOO ORDINARY door and window openings on it. And this is pasted on a continuous glass wall. Venturi would have a few words to say looking to this facade... But this seems more a gesture of the designer than a mistake. Probably it has provided some satisfaction for the expectation of the clients and a not very foreign vocabulary for the local inhabitants. The freestanding louvres, the oddly punctuated frieze and wide eaves obviously have similar connotations for the region and also climatic functions.
