As the design landscape evolves, SEAT PRIZE calls upon creative minds like yours to step onto the global stage. This prestigious competition invites aspiring young designers to showcase their talents and innovations to the world.

This year's focus on "Lounge Chair" within the "Concept" category challenges participants to create pieces that go beyond functionality, aiming for a seamless integration of industrial, interaction, and experience design. The judging criteria encompass not only engineering and production standards but also user experience, form aesthetics, and the interaction quality with users and technology.

SEAT PRIZE 2023 will be contested in two distinctive categories:

Product (concept design and manufacture): In this category, the designers will be responsible for designing as well as the manufacturing process of their designs. This category's outcome is an object presented as a prototype or pre-manufactured model. There is no pre-defined theme for submissions in this category.

Concept (concept design): In this category, designers compete to create top-notch designs in line with the annual theme of the award.

The registration process and obtaining a working code for contest participation will be conducted through the website.
