The WA Awards 10+5+X is open to architects, architecture firms, interior designers, interior design firms, and students in architecture and interior design from around the world.

Here’s a list of what you need to prepare for the project upload form in order to submit your entry on time:

Project section. Select the most recent architectural or interior design job from your office portfolio.

Project type. You have two options for your project type: designed or realized. If you are an academic member, you will only see the Designed type on the form.

Design intention. Enter your project description as succinctly and effectively as possible. The project description must be at least 1500 characters long, including spaces. Your project description can be made clearer and more detailed by using subheadings.

Technical data. It is crucial to include all technical information about your project, including its size, height, number of floors, footprint, program, structure specifications, and the extent of public and amenity spaces.

Project team. Your team members who have contributed to the project should be listed. If the project has a lead designer, you should utilise specific titles. Additionally, you may want to include engineering teams or consultants who have contributed to the project.

Project category. Presenting your project in the appropriate category is crucial. You can select the appropriate title for your project from the more specialized titles displayed in the "Project Category" list. The Project Sub-category list will appear in accordance with the main category you have selected.

Project images. The most crucial step in the submission process is choosing an image. The most eye-catching images, sketches, and illustrations for your project should be chosen. Professional, Business and Academic Members are allowed to upload up to 20 photographs per project, while Basic Members are only allowed to upload 10 images. Renderings and construction photos are not permitted if you are submitting a built architecture project. The project form does not allow videos. Credit information. Photographic credits must be written beneath each picture. You won’t be able to save your project otherwise.

Don't forget to double-check. After your upload is complete, go back to “My Projects” and click on the project title to see the overall layout of your work. When you’re done, click the “Participate Now” option to submit your application. A label will appear on your submitted project, and your payment receipt will be sent to the email address you registered. Remember! The project is immediately locked once you finish submitting it, making it impossible to change.
