2 days left to enter WA Awards 48th Cycle

Just two days left to enter the 48th Cycle of the WA Awards 10+5+X

It's not too late to complete your entry before the deadline at midnight 23:59 GMT +0 on 22 August.

You can create an account from this page to begin your entry right now. To begin your entry, sign in to your WAC account if you are already a member.

WA Awards 10+5+X is open to architects, architecture offices, interior designers, interior design offices, architecture and interior design students from all around the world.

The following is a list of the items you must have ready in the project upload form in order to submit your entry on time:

Project section. Choose the most recent project—interior design or architecture—from your office portfolio.

Project type. You have two project types to choose from: Designed or Realised. If you're an Academic Member, you will see only the Designed type in the form.

Design intentions. You should include the most pertinent and efficient information possible in your project description. The project description in the form should not exceed 1500 characters (including spaces). Subtitles allow you to be more direct and precise when describing your project.

Technical data. It is important that you include all relevant technical information about your project, including its size, height, number of stories, amenity and public space sizes, footprint, program, and structural details.

Project team. You are recommended to write to the members of your team who contributed to the project. If there is a lead designer on the project, you should refer to them by specific titles. In addition, you should also write consultants or engineering teams who have worked on the project.

Project category. It's crucial that you submit your project under the appropriate category. There are more specialized titles displayed in the "Project Category" list from which you can select the one that best fits your project. When you select the relevant main category, the Project Sub-category list will appear accordingly.

Project images. The most crucial step in the submission process is choosing the images. The most eye-catching photos, sketches, and illustrations for your project should be chosen. Associate Members may upload up to 10 images, while Professional and Academic members may upload up to 20 images per project. If you're submitting a completed Architecture project, you can only use photographs - not renderings and construction photographs. Videos are not allowed in the project form. See our How To Participate page for more information on image size and requirements.

Credit information. All photography credits must be listed beneath each image. You won't be able to save your project otherwise.

Always make a double-check. Once your upload is finished, return to "My Projects" and select your project title in the editor to view the overall layout of your project. When you are prepared, click the "Participate Now" button to submit your entry. If it is accepted, a label will appear on your project and you will receive a payment receipt in your registered email. Keep in mind that the project is automatically locked after you submit it, so it cannot be edited after submission.

Only 2 days left!

Hurry up! Entries will close on Thursday, 22 August, 2024 (23:59 GMT +0).

More details and visual guidance can be found on our How To Participate page.
