The Bachelor of Architecture Study Program at Tarumanagara University presents an exhibition of 25 of the best final projects from the 31st Final Project of the Architectural Design Studio 8th. 

The exhibition, called PUBLIC EXPOSE 8.31, focuses on the theme "Beyond Ecology Towards Architecture for Goodness and Life". 

PUBLIC EXPOSE is an exhibition event that is routinely held every six months, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation, this time the exhibition will be held via online with the aim of reaching a wider public audience.

Architecture 'Beyond' Ecology is the ability to see the built environment full of ecosystem objects and buildings that are designed to be 'home' - 'oikos' for humans on earth. The range of architectural legibility as 'oikos' echoes the spatial spectrum that is easy to understand in image and use. There will be a new way of consuming spatial concepts, more local in terms of content and more concerned with cultural production than just cultural consumption. Basically, technological progress will be accelerated. Space has become so 'flexible' and 'floating' and will continue to seek answers to the ongoing changes in the ecosystem.

In this exhibition, each project tries to raise ecological issues that are observed and implemented in the form of architectural designs. 

Each project tells how architecture plays a role in ecological issues that have existed in the past, present, and will happen in the future with the aim for goodness and life.

PUBLIC EXPOSE 8.31 exhibition can be visited online with a 360-degree virtual tour via this page, and details of the project can also be seen by zooming on the presentation boards. Each project board is presented with a small label opened on the left side. 

The PUBLIC EXPOSE 8.31 virtual exhibition opened to the public on July 23, 2021 and the judging will be held on July 29, 2021.

The Jury is composed of Ed Baker, Director and Urban Designer at Broadway Malyan and Alvin Triestanto, Lead Architect at Zaha Hadid Architects.
