WA Awards 30th Cycle Shortlist Announced And Ready For Your Rates & Votes

World Architecture Community has announced the strong shortlist for the World Architecture Community Awards 30th Cycle, including a wide range of innovative projects submitted from 35 countries across the world. About three times a year, World Architecture Community organises the WA Awards 10+5+X to recognise and highlight some of the great projects of our fellow community members. 

Zaha Hadid Architects, competing with four projects, Tabanlioglu Architects, Sanjay Puri Architects, Group GSA, Laurent Troost Architectures, Ian Ritchie Architects and more are just a few among the shortlist.

Zaha Hadid Architects' 520 West 28th between the streets of New York and the High Line, competing to be a winner of WA Awards 30th Cycle, has been named among the strong shortlist in the Realized category

In this Cycle, WAC received projects from as many as 35 countries, more specifically from Netherlands, Burkina Faso, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Canada, China, Austria, Philippines, United Kingdom, Australia, Italy, Macau, United States, France, Greece, India, Iran, Hong Kong, Sweden, South Korea, Brazil, Romania, New Zealand, Cook Islands, Colombia, Bahrain, Cambodia, Switzerland, Germany, Pakistan, Indonesia, Taiwan, United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, Malaysia. A fantastic mix and a broad global coverage, to say the least!

Zaha Hadid Architects' Morpheus Hotel in Macau, competing to be a winner of WA Awards 30th Cycle, has been named among the strong shortlist in the Realized category

Projects are in 3 specific categories: Realised, Designed and Student. As usual, the shortlisted projects will be evaluated by our jury, composed of some of our Honorary Members and previous cycles Winners for the first 10 and by our entire community members for the other 5 through their rates.

Sanjay Puri's Convention Centre 99 in India, competing to be a winner of WA Awards 30th Cycle, has been named among the strong shortlist in the Designed category.

Honorary Members and Winners of Previous Cycles will notice a VOTE button where they can click to select their preferred projects. They may chose as many projects as they wish, only the total of the votes will determine the selected projects.

All other Members (Associate, Professional or Academic) of World Architecture Community will see a rating drop-box, where they can decide how they want to rate as many of the shortlisted projects as they wish (1 through 10, 10 being the highest rate). The 5 projects with the highest rates and from at least 15 members will form the +5 of the WA Awards 10+5+X.

IX Architects' More Than Just A Library in Cambodia, competing to be a winner of WA Awards 30th Cycle, has been named among the strong shortlist in the Realized category.

World Architecture Community plans to announce winners latest by end of February. You are the community, so make your vote/rate count and your voice be heard.
