Shaunt Yemenjian appointed as WAC's The United States Country Reporter

Shaunt Yemenjian has been appointed as the United States' Country Reporter as part of the WAC's Country Editors/Reporters Program, a voluntary-based program that helps to disseminate local architecture and knowledge to global media through the new ways of Digital Journalism. 

Shaunt is a practicing architect, adjunct faculty at Fresno City College in California and a perpetual student of architecture. 

Shaunt is current working as an architect at Paul Halajian Architects, a California-based architecture practice.

"Building and construction is an incredible experience each time and I consider it an honor that I get to see ideas become reality through this profession," says Shaunt Yemenjian. 

During his a twenty-years experience in practice, he has completed significant and award winning projects in Higher Education, in Adaptive Re-Use and Affordable Housing. "These are three areas of practice that I enjoy working it and find opportunities to advance new and creative ideas," he added.

As an Armenian-American architect practicing in California, Shaunt's interests and motivation are based on three main principles: theory, culture and construction.
