Lecture: Jenny Wu of Oyler Wu Collaborative to give lecture in Melbourne School of Design

Jenny Wu, Founder of Oyler Wu Collaborative and Robert Garland Treseder Fellow, will give a keynote lecture on Thursday, 29 September, 2022 in Melbourne School of Design, The University of Melbourne, Parkville Campus, Melbourne, Australia.
Titled Inlays, Loose Fits, and Other Puzzling Forms of Assembly, in this lecture, Jenny Wu will discuss the evolution of their design work of the Los Angeles based architecture firm, Oyler Wu Collaborative.
Beginning with the idea of line as space, their work has moved from small-scale installations to large-scale buildings.
Jenny will discuss the exploratory ideas, objects, and assembly sensibilities that drive the work, as well as the multi-scalar approach to their architectural application.
This public lecture is part of the Future Design Research Symposium (Sep 29-30), which explores design innovation and the new possibilities that digital technologies offer for contemporary design practice, the construction industry and education.
