Jeancyn Alforque has been appointed as Spain's Country Reporter, as part of the WAC's Country Editors/Reporters program. Jec Alforque is an architect by profession and urbanist by passion. She is interested in the convergence of the physical, spatial, social, economic and environmental facets of life and how they manifest themselves at the urban setting. Born, raised and educated in the tropical land of the Philippines where having fun is an understatement, she moved to Europe to pursue postgraduate degree as well as global and integrated ways of approaching things. She currently resides in Barcelona, awaiting to get her hands dirty for heaps of urban planning and management issues.
Alforque's articles were published in many magazines. She is currently studying on her Master's Thesis titled "Urban Attractiveness: Towards FDI inflow of East Asia and Pacific Cities" at the Erasmus University Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Alforque was involved in the organization of seminars and presentations since 2014.
