Los Angeles based choreographer, creative director and the artistic director Jacob Jonas has combined art and dance through architectural backdrops.

In newly released artistic photographs, many well-known buildings designed by prominent architects are used to complete the artistic movement and these buildings include: Zaha Hadid Architects-designed Port House in Belgium, Renzo Piano Building Workshop-designed Stavros Niarchos Foundation in Greece, Herzog & de Meuron's De Young Musuem in San Francisco, Steven Holl Architects' Kennedy Center in Washington DC, Richard Meier & Partners' The Getty Museum in California, OMA's Seattle Public Library in Seattle, United States, EFFEKT Architects' Camp Adventure in Denmark.

#CamerasandDancers is a monthly and location specific Instameet organized by Jacob Jonas The Company (JJTC) and cohosted by social media influencers and significant cultural institutions, including the Metropolitan Museum, Whitney Museum, de Young Museum, The Getty Museum, and The Kennedy Center.

An Instameet is an event organized for Instagram users, or Instagrammers, to meet and create photo content together.

"The objective of #CamerasandDancers is to bring the mediums of dance and photography together to create content and creatively activate spaces both in real time and online," said the company.

"With social media playing such an important role in new age communication, what better way to connect artists and audiences together?," added the company.

"#CamerasandDancers is proving to be a great platform to inspire new artistic collaborations, build community, and increase visibility of the art of dance."
